Five new ‘chef entries’, lots of enthusiasm and creativity, a world of delicious food & the finest wines: the 22° National Congress of the Italian Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe (the Association of Europe’s Young Restaurateurs) took place on 15th and 16th March 2015.
More than 80 chefs joined the event, which also included gourmet-lover guests from all over Europe who wanted to learn more about the latest JRE Guide as well as projects for the future, marked by the exciting 2015 EXPO Milano dedicated to food.
The chosen venue for the culinary event was the Argentario Golf Resort & Spa, located between the fishing villages of Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano in southern Tuscany.
During the occasion, Marco Stabile was announced as the new president of JRE, which includes 332 innovative professionals from the ages of 23 to 37 years old, of which 84 are Italian (as of March 2015).
A gourmet dinner at Dama Dama Restaurant served delicious and creative dishes prepared by 5 JRE chefs from Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Croatia.
