THE CUISINE: At the Dama Dama Restaurant, Chef Riccardo Cappelli proposes a cuisine based on the flavors and the colors of the local territory. Dishes are prepared using genuine products that come from small, carefully selected local farms and, in some periods of the year, these ingredients come directly from our vegetable garden and orchard.
In addition to the classic Mediterranean cuisine, the restaurant also proposes the innovative cuisine of the Wellbeing Method conceived by biologist and nutritionist Luca Naitana. It promotes a new concept of wellness centered on reaching a balanced and healthy physical and mental state. The Mediterranean-type diet favors fresh and seasonal fruit and vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, white meat and fresh fish.
We recommend the Tasting Menu for those wishing to undertake a voyage among the flavors, the aromas and the colors of the most particular land and sea dishes.
The wine cellar offers mainly wines from the Maremma Tuscany. The restaurant was created by the renowned restaurateur Fabrizio Santucci, owner of Il Caminetto in Rome, with the consultancy of Emiliano Lombardelli from Porto Santo Stefano.
THE CHEF: Riccardo Cappelli was born in 1983 in Roccastrada, a small village in the heart of Maremma Tuscany. His passion for cooking was evident since he was a little child, when he would happily help his mom in the kitchen. His career includes experiences in the gourmet restaurant of Banfi Winery, where he worked with Michelin-starred chefs like Guido Haverkock and Salvatore Quarto; and Il Pellicano in Porto Ercole as head chef of Pelligrill, under the guidance of starred Chef Sebastiano Lombardi. International experiences allowed Chef Cappelli to perfect his techniques and to understand the demands of other cultures, yet he remains tied to the Mediterranean gastronomic tradition, and especially to his Tuscan roots. Dama Dama Restaurant was included in the Michelin Guide shortly after Chef Cappelli’s arrival.
THE NAME: ‘Dama Dama’ is the scientific name for the fallow deer, a beautiful species that can still be found roaming freely in the woods that surround the Argentario Resort.

Club House Restaurant
Revitalizing drinks and healthy dishes that are both simple yet creative, await you in the Club House, which recalls the tradition of historic Anglo-Saxon golf clubs with contemporary details. The restaurant and bar of the Club House overlook the large terrace where you can admire the beautiful landscape: the golf course, the Mediterranean vegetation, Orbetello Lagoon and the Gulf of Talamone.
The Club House bar is open from 8:00 to 20:00, offering sandwiches, salads and desserts throughout the day.
The kitchen is open from 12:00 to 17:00 with the special Club House Menu.
Both the Dama Dama and the Club House restaurants are open to the general public.
